I have kept TAG on the air since moving up to Maine for the summer a few 
weeks ago. Time to clear some bench space, and free the antenna up for 
other purposes. So I will take it down on Tuesday or Wednesday. As 
expected, there have been no recent reports, though it remains copyable 
at 130 miles at home in MA.

Shutdown is a delicate thing. The push-pull RCA 892R's (look THAT one 
up) should be run at reduced filament voltage for a little while, then 
killing the 22-volt 3 phase filaments, and letting the blowers cool the 
seals off. Extends the tube life. It'll be nice to be done with the 
3-minute light dimming in the cottage over the summer...
