[Lowfer] Historical HiFER operation?

Some more thoughts on Hifer history:

1. Go to: https://www.lwca.net/mbarchiv/index.htm and look at May, 2001 
and on into that summer.

2. Unfortunately, the records from the lowfer at mailman.qth.net reflector 
at that time are not publicly available, probably due to their 
changeover to mailman around then. I have a cache of "lowfer" emails 
from that period, but don't see anything that would be of much use.

3. John Davis should have some memory not only of the 2001 era, but 
earlier 13.555 MHz activity well before the slow-speed stuff came along.
