I monitored 518 kHz Navtex over night from NE IL. Big storms made for
noisy conditions but plenty of decodes came through anyway, including
one from Puerto Rico. I didn't notice anything around 518.6 kHz where
interference has been reported but did see a weak waterfall indication
of something wide band on the mark frequency. There is a Canadian HD
radio station that has a wide, flat spectrum that can impact Navtex
reception here but it was under the noise last night. The attachment
shows a transmission from area 4 station A at 0810Z.
