In years not too long past, I could copy multiple EU LF broadcast stations from southern Wisconsin on rigs as simple as a TS-130S/L, simple LF preamp, and a ~ 100' long wire. Mind you, the sigs were not "armchair copy" but, on good nights, programming could be heard without much "imagination."
