[Lowfer] Old water softener RFI recordings?

I recall in the late 90's when electronic "water softeners", and
"de-scalers" were becoming popular, and wiping out LowFER, and some ham
bands across the US, and Europe, there were a few pages dedicated to the
noise produced by the horrible devices.  One in particular had numerous
recordings of various makes, and models, and operating in various modes. 
  I recall the audio samples provided were in the .rm format.  I saved them,
but it could take literally months, or years for me to find them.

Does anyone recall the webpage, or have any of the old audio samples or RFI?
