[Lowfer] EAR off the air

EAR is now back on the air, I think.  The problem was in the feed
line between the shack and the helix house having been chewed
by some critter!  It stripped the RG-6 right down to the bare inner
conductor!  Unlike the last time, it didn’t blow the RFC, which is
in the exciter unit here in the shack.

I’ve repaired the feed line with a temporary patch that I hope holds
until springtime.  I had to put my “wellies” on, as the helix house is
surrounded by a six inch deep mote.  Instrumentation tells me that
EAR is back on the air, but I’d like a signal report from a distant
station to know that it’s getting out.
