[Lowfer] EAR in TN

Hi Andy:

How exactly does Greenland LW affect EAR as you see it in TN? I’ve been listening for EAR from FL, and I generally see some kind of signal that is about 0.3 Hz wide right on top, at 188.8307. This signal comes and goes on a long cycle and when it’s subsides, I see what looks like Morse characters, never enough for confirmation though, and longer than QRSS30 would suggest. I don’t think it’s local as it only shows up after dark and I think too stable and narrowband to be any kind of consumer electronics.

Here is a link to a representative example of what I see night after night https://www.dropbox.com/s/t0tm220q9v3onuh/Jan29_0012_FL.gif?dl=0 <https://www.dropbox.com/s/t0tm220q9v3onuh/Jan29_0012_FL.gif?dl=0>

EAR’s frequency is only 169.3 Hz below Greenland’s carrier frequency. A steady signal like this would seem inconsistent with the nature of their programming and the modulation method.

What do you think?

A great night for EAR. The signal was in all night with very little QSB, and Greenland LW wasn't destroying the signal
as it typically does. EAR faded at 7:04am EST.
