Wise move Kasey. Larger is Better ! Less resistance for a given length of wire. As mentioned; every " Little " bit counts,

I'm glad you were finally able to copy it. That marks a new confirmed distance. I think Brian in Michigan is listening again tonight. He is about 500 miles from me. 
The only change I made was to the grounding system. I changed the wire from the ground rod to the loading coil to a larger gauge wire. 
I also cleaned up the ground connections to the radials and it seems like that possibly helped.
