Sooooooo....  I was buying up some unique items on ebay about twenty 
years ago.  At the time, the typical price was under $10 for new, under 
$5 for used, delivered!  Having cornered the market, the price jumped to 
$30+ used, a ten times increase (now in the hundreds new or used).  I 
jump back surprised, and say, "Damn, people want real money for this 
stuff now!"  My Native American wife, not missing a beat, "What'd they 
want before, beads, and furs...?"
