[Lowfer] TAG WOLFing

JR,
Yep, sometimes the computers are right where they should be. The laptop
I've been using to monitor this up here in Maine is pretty close. If I
take the standard sampling rate, the skewing is very small.
I have a box here with a 10MHz oven-controlled oscillator in it, and
dividers down to 1kHz. With that oscillator set against WWV, I can use
the 1kHz output to calibrate both the sound card and the receiver.
Planning to do more playing at home when I get set back up. At least
there's plenty of signal to work with, according to your results. Thanks.
JA

The bad news is that I gave up some efficiency by using #12 wire for the loop antenna. If this new setup survives the winter, I will try putting up the old RG-8 next year, and using the shield as the antenna conductor. That stuff is pretty heavy, and the big pine that holds up one corner is right on the lake edge, and sways a lot in the breezes.
