How about FST4W-1800 or combination FST4W-1800 / QRSS on the other half hour 
both on same frequency in the watering hole? GPS 1pps & NMEA could discipline 
computer time.

Think lowfers would have a much bigger audience, and perhaps more stations 
interested in transmitting, if they moved on to modern digital modes. Look at 
630 and 2200 meters ... QRSS is all but dead ... unlikely to ever return. Just 
like lowfer moved on from aural copy to QRSS ... it's probably time to move on to digital.
