It's doesn't appear to be a temperature problem considering it stayed
within 1 Hz last night with about a 30 degree range.  You had a
frequency problem when the battery voltage dropped.  I assume the
beacon is still on a power supply?  Maybe revealing your transmitter
schematic will get you some suggestions as to the problem and how to
stabilize it.
