Mark & All: Likewise I started listening on 137 kHz late and missed the DL0, although I may not have enough consistent rx stability for the 1800 mode with the .1hz furnance cycling thermal drift...
I seem to decode strong signals most of the time, but at times strong signals do not decode. Best so far was a -37 decode of N1BUG one afternoon.
I never noticed a light trace for the DL0 last night through all the trash that a 5 x 8 foot LED sign makes that is about 1000ft to the NE of my QTH. I seem to get noise shielding
from the tree foilage in the fall, but once the leaves drop (like now) the NE broadband noise increases noticeably. A good rain seems to temporarily reduce the NE local noise, perhaps all the
wet tree bark and utility poles makes good RF absorbers at LF/MF at low angle ground wave, allowing some skyway signal to be detected here. Only a few weeks to go before all the LED twirling xmas
lights make their appearance, so we should get our dxing in while we can...

No luck on JH here last night (but saw bits and pieces Thursday evening). Also no cigar on DLOHOT (although by the time I started monitoring, it seemed no one else in NA was reporting decodes, either, and DL dawn was only ~90 min. away). zperhaps early evening is the better option.Mark -- WA9ETW -- EN52fsSent from my U.S. Cellular® Smartphone

Actually, that first reception was the best. Lots of J's overnight, but the H's were lighter. Here's the first one, starting at 0300Z:http://www.w1tag.com/files/JH14NOV20.jpgJohn, W1TAG______________________________________________________________Lowfer mailing listHome: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/lowferHelp: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htmPost: mailto:Lowfer at mailman.qth.netPost must be less than 50KB total for message plus attachment! This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.netPlease help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
