I’m about 200mi north of the current center of Eta and we are only being advised of 45mph gusts and rain. Like you say, they think it might just sit in the Gulf for days and drench us. So, concern is low and nobody is putting up their hurricane shutters ;-)
I’d like to try and snag EAR this year after logging SIW last year. EAR is 1170 miles or so from North Port FL, so it’s challenging.

Since Beta, they had seemed to be growing quieter, and Zeta's electrical output was so minimal I was able to copy WM, SIW and EAR through it without difficulty.
Eta is another story, and it looks like it may hover around in the Gulf all week.
