John I have many times been victim of the same thing, so you can know that
your message is saddening.  The worst kind of break-in is the
repetitive one that takes just a little at a time.  You almost, but not
quite, do not notice those, but they add to plenty.   I hope you are able
to recoup your loss.   As for the note to "potter" it is my belief that the
perpetrator usually IS the potter and is someone who can barely read. let
alone think clearly.  It is an old problem, one that even an IBM machine
would not be able to fathom given all the data.
As for the music, Douglas, I really enjoyed listening to that.
