Correct. It was one of the few LWBC stations I could hear regularly at 
listenable levels in Kansas without excess QRM, and used to test my time 
signal decoder with it from time to time. Mainly, though, I enjoyed the 
music. AFAIK, France Inter itself continues as a domestic service, so I 
am unclear how simply turning off the modulators stages saves them 6 
million euros a year when the RF stages, building, and towers still have 
to be maintained for the time signal.
