Hi Andy,
Not bad for a couple of BS170s! Thanks for the report. I'll probably only run theLowfer 7P for the next week or so while I am working on the main MF/LF antenna.
7P is using a U3S with 2 BS170 final transistors. Antenna is my original 630m part 5antenna, 50'of Al tubing with an extensive ground system of chicken wire sections out
100'. After the 100' LF/MF antenna went up, I lowered the shorter one since theyare only about 40' apart. I'm not too worried having the Lowfer on with the mainantenna up, but I don't think I want to TX on the big antenna (630/2200m) with the
50' antenna up. Plus the grounds are currently mingled together as well. I really didn'tthink anyone would be able to hear it so it was just an experiment to see how far awayI could hear it. About 4 to 5 miles, as it turns out.
If I want to continue on 1750m I'll need to move the 50' antenna to the other side of
the property. And I just got done telling the YL that the work on the 100' antenna wasthe last project for a while . . . .

Hi all;
put a couple of spliced SpecLab captures in dropbox of the lowFER Watering Hole.
At lowFER specs, seeing " 7P ' from Tonopah, Arizona at a distance of 1,641 miles,
is remarkable.
