[Lowfer] My Active Loop is apparently dead

Andy,

Unfortunately, if I recall correctly, the Wellbrook loop preamp is not user
serviceable. If you have 12 volts at the end of the coax at the base of the
loop, and you aren't hearing signals, one must conclude, as you did, that
the issue is in the active preamp. IIRC, it is potted. :-(

I think MFJ sells a similar active receiving loop, probably with a user
serviceable preamp?
