Hello Andy,

 Saturday, November 16, 2019

I think I would use a switch box to remove power to the loop during
TX, that's what I do here when transmitting on 2200 meters. It
would probably be OK without, but probably doesn't pay the repair bills!

Best regards,
 Chris 2E0ILY mailto:chris at chriswilson.tv

AKvL> Greetings all:

AKvL> I have a Wellbrook Active Loop that I hope to put into receive
AKvL> service soon. Is there a minimum separation distance
AKvL> from my 630 meter TX Vertical I should consider ? My Vertical
AKvL> portion is 40 feet tall and I have top loading in several
AKvL> directions extending 200+ feet. My TX power into the loading
AKvL> Coil is 22 watts. I certainly don't won't to " blow out "
AKvL> the loops Preamp on the first night of TXing. Thanks for any and all comments.
