Looking hard ... but I'm not seeing a
 capture of N1DAY. Maybe it's in a
 different capture?

 Andy,
 Great capture of N1DAY.
 Brings
back memories, I knew the original N1DAY Stephen Hubbard, a
 fascinating
guy and a member of the
Northern Berkshire Amateur Club in Western
Massachusetts (NoBarc) - his obit published by
 the club is below.
 73 Warren

 Norman Stephen/Hubbard. N1DAY, a charter member
of NoBARC; was 89 yrs old.
 Steve lived in
Lenox with his wife Agnes. He could be heard on ‘91 up
 until a
year or so ago until he got sick. A
consummate gentleman, always - with a
charming British accent he was so very
interesting to speak with on the air. He
was born in Norwich, England and also educated
 in England earning degrees in
 anthropology,
Chemistry and a degree in archeology from Columbia Univ. He

traveled widely and loved to talk about the
time he lived and worked in South
 Africa.
N1DAY also held ham licenses in England, Africa and
 India.
 Also an interesting item. Steve
worked with Lord Baden-Powell the original
founder of Boy Scouts. So Steve we wish you
rest in peace and your friends at
 Nobarc
 will miss you.
 (As per our custom Nobarc
will affix a plaque with N1DAY’s call sign on the
door of the James Szewczyk Communications
bunker that houses our equipment on
 Mt.
Greylock.) de Pat, N1LZH (and with help from N1PUA who knew
 him better than
 all of us.)

 I
apologize for transmitting DFCW in the WSPR segment. I would
 have
preferred to be elsewhere but the other
 station has frequency
 constraints and cannot
move far. I sincerely hope this
 doesn't
 cause
 problems for anyone. This wasn't
announced because it is a QSO
 attempt but
the cat is out of the bag now. Note that the frequency
used is one that almost always has an active
 WSPR station on it
 (except during this QSO
attempt), thus would not be an ideal choice
for a North American WSPR station.
