Good morning David:
Have been using "Ashlock" loop , as described by other, for past 10 years.
Horizontals are 140 feet and vertical sections 45 feet. Lot is small -
totally surrounded by 90 foot spruce, maple and other hardwoods. Garden is
for shade plants only :-). Running a maximum of 200 watts, have been
copied from UK, Germany, France, etc and SW to Mexico, and throughout the
continent. The loop is 2 wires (paralleled) of #10 plastic covered. Small 2
inch pvc drilled spacers. Pulled through the trees and I am sure have been
growing into the branches over the years.
The beauty of the loop has been the stability of the tuning - I do not have
to "tweak" the tuning over periods of weeks and at times months.
Invisible in the trees.
Lots of input and exchanges with Bill through the years.
I am sending some photos of the hombebrew tuner system directly.
