Sure did, and I'm intrigued by that. In the daytime, the numbers track
pretty closely to the advertised power difference, and only vary a little
more in full darkness. As close as the two of you are to each other,
relative to the path between us, such an anomaly is surprising.
I hope to be able to monitor more tonight. It would be great to have K3MF
on with a greater duty cycle, say maybe 25%, since the numbers can changed
in just a matter of minutes sometimes.
Last night I only watched 2200 m for a brief while, since I'd set aside
the night to look for EAR. My attempt earlier in the week got
short-circuited by the receiver's IF passband tuning being all the way
counterclockwise, which I didn't notice until I had better light around
daybreak. Much better results last night, though:
