FWIW, I've noted that Loran C has been active in the western U.S. for 
the past day or so with very strong signals being noted here in Utah.

It certainly has a bit different "sound" to it from the old Loran, but I 
suspect that's in part due to the relatively few chains operating - and 
the "e" part of the eLoran that modifies the signal slightly.

I've been perusing the GoogleWeb, but haven't found anything on this 
specific test - only things from around June and August of this year.
