Attached is my final capture of the evening from SE Kansas. The signal
first started showing up faintly from 6:33 to 6:39 PM CDT, then fully
readable between 6:45 and 6:51 PM.
>From roughly 7 to 9 PM, both XIL and NA underwent dramatic level changes,
ranging from very bright at QRSS10 slow to abruptly invisible. I think XIL
would have been readable in CW during that time frame, except those
segments all fell within the deep fades.
By 10 PM, XIL had stabilized at a mostly constant level, but the carrier
was no longer loud enough to be distinguishable from the combined whine of
PLCs. During the final capture, VO1NA was scarcely visible. It might have
been viewable at QRSS60, but rain forced me away from the listening post
at that point.
Please keep us informed of the operating schedule, and good luck with the
blizzard!
