[Lowfer] XIL in daylight

Way out here in Kansas (or, here in way-out Kansas, if you prefer) nothing
was audible this morning, and visible only at QRSS30...which looks as if
it would have worked OK, actually. That's with much improved QRN over
yesterday. Our own storms moved out Tuesday night, but apparently remained
severe over the mid-South yesterday, resulting in S9+10 to +20 continuous
noise, even over that distance. Today's noise averages S1 with peaks to S2
and S3, while the combined signal and QRM is around S0.
I was watching overnight. XIL started showing up by 10 PM CST, but it
interacted heavily with the static for hours. I was no longer conscious
by the time things cleared up, so I don't know if it was audible between
4:02 and 4:25 AM (the time span covered by the lower trace in the attached
capture) but it looks as if it should have been. Perhaps I'll have
another shot tonight.
