Mike:  Well, I only squeeze out an extra dB or so with regular connector 
maintenance. There was a strong transcontinental path to the NW overnight on 
630m and low background noise, I suspect that was a part of the equation 
favoring 1750m band for awhile. Since Mark ETW also reported a substantial 
reception improvement, I suspect the re-connections in the helix can may 
have been a factor....many thanks for all your beaconing efforts.

XND continues to put a decent daylight signal into EN90 this morning,so the 
quiet and low absorption propagation conditions are still in place.
