Thanks John, but actually my receive setup is pretty plain Jane. I have
2 eprobes running to 2 SDR-IQ receivers, then on to a pair of Windows 7
64 bit PCs. The eprobe in the back yard up only 10' (k3siw/1) generally
produces higher SNRs than the eprobe up 35' on top of the house roof
(k3siw/2). An exception is VLF, where the rooftop eprobe does best. I
have plenty of 60 Hz picket fence racket below 100 kHz, coming I think
from the Com Ed power line to the house. The back yard eprobe is near
that power line while the rooftop eprobe isn't. The rooftop eprobe does
get overwhelmed by electrical noise generated by my new, modern,
super-efficient furnace fan so I simply turn the fan off when I'm
listening to VLF signals. I also have a 10' shielded loop a la VE7SL
(k3siw/3) but it seldom performs better than the eprobes. It does of
course have nulling capability and that has certainly been helpful when
monitoring various DGPS and NDB sources.

I was surprised to decode your station on both 600-mtr opera 8 and
wspr2. I wonder what you're using for transmitting? Separate PAs to
separate antennas or just one of each sequencing between modes?
