The last couple of times I've looked for midday signals (including today), I've seen MLS but little or nothing of EAR. This is odd because when I see one, I almost always see the other. Moreover, EAR usually seems to modestly outperform MLS here. (SIW, of course, is always solid copy at this QTH.)
The vagaries of daytime LF propagation, I guess.
