Quite amazing. For those who haven't seen the effect yet in person, I
prepared an illustration of what Garry's talking about. The GPS sync for
the WSPR exciter meant it was possible to line up a normal capture of SIW
from Dec 31 with what I captured Wednesday night, frequency step for
frequency step, to depict what's happening.
(For disclosure, though, the sample I used of the QRSS signal was from
Friday afternoon; and because the keyer's timing is a free running
oscillator that can vary a few percent between days, I had to foreshorten
the Friday capture just a smidgen to line it up with Wednesday night's
capture.)
