The clumping kind.  There are too many variations of Tidy Cat to keep
track of these days, and I doubt whether the new lightweight version is
worth the bother at all; but what I used was the non-perfumed version most
widely sold at Walmart about six years ago.

I could've gotten plain sodium bentonite at industrial or farm suppliers,
I suppose, which would have been without the silica and other dusty
irritants found in cat litter. But I was experiencing back problems at the
time, thanks to the trenching effort, and Walmart shopping carts made
walking much easier...even if a cart overflowing with jugs of Tidy cat did
get strange looks from other shoppers. :)
