Sorry if I'm missing something obvious, but I have had difficulties with image attachments in posts to this group. Specifically, originated messages with attached .jpg files vanish, while such attachments accompanying replies to ongoing threads seem to appear. I have found (or have missed) specific list requirements such as file type and size, and have tried radically downsizing to no avail.
