[Lowfer] A Question to Windows-7 users

: The IT department at my employer upgraded all our computers (hundreds, if
: not thousands of them) to Windows 7 shortly after Microsoft announced they
: were no longer going to support XP after such and such date. Trust me, our
: IT department never upgrades *anything* unless they have a good reason to.

Or think they do because someone else told them so and they felt they needed
to react.  I can't help but notice that despite a lack of "support", nothing
ever changed or got worse.  DOS still works, 3.11, 98SE, XP, no change other
than someone else somewhere else that has nothing to do with me my
computers, or anyone I know, said something else to someone else...
Limited, yes, but other that that, everything they could do, they still can,
including many things that came years later. Seems a pretty poor reason to
change at my time and expese.

I'm reasonable, I've been waiting for what they say will happen, to happen,
anything, just once...
