[Lowfer] Opera32 decodes

Good Morning Garry:

I don't know how to interpret the numbers myself.. OPERA got 1 more decode than WSPR-15 because I got into
the action too late for the 02:00 UTC WSPR-15 decode or it would have got it too... Looks like they are just
about " neck - to - neck " in the race - at least for number of decodes.. Now - my opinion - I have always believed
that WSPR is more powerful than OPERA, and I think that can be evidenced by the 3 " Deep Search " decodes.
Those are supposedly - just below the threshold for a true decode ( and are refferred to as detections ) , but
WSPR-15 got True Decodes .. With WSPR, it's " all, or none at all " ... My original observation - back when
OPERA hit the scene was ; " twice the power, and twice the time - needed to accomplish the same thing as WSPR..
*** End my opinion ... hi - hi

 Hi Andy,

I see you got more opera32 decodes over
 night. If you're also decoding
wspr15 I wonder how the SNRs compare? I
 tend to get somewhat better
 numbers with wspr15 compared to
 opera32. Perhaps due to different
 reference bandwidths or maybe just
 different algorithms for estimating
 the noise floor.

 73 and thanks for listening.
