[Lowfer] N8OOU/B on 137.155 Conclusion

List Readers;

I have closed my testing on 136/137 using the 300Ft Loop. I have two
observations from the test. One is that very little signal seems to be
radiated into the ether. That corresponds with the computer
calculations. The FSK daytime signal was received by one station located
a little over 100 Miles away. The FSK keying was weak, but could be
clearly seen in the waterfall. The night time WSPR transmission was
decoded out to the 200+ Mile range.

The second conclusion is that the second and third harmonic signal
strength was higher than they should be. I was expecting the loop "Q" to
provide more suppression.

While both of these conditions can be improved, I think my effort would
be better spent getting another antenna operational on this band. After
re-tuning the 300Ft loop to the 630m band, where it is about 16%
efficient, I have WSPR coverage over the Eastern half of the US.
Thanks to all who listened and reported their findings.
