Tom, or anyone else, can you confirm whether the WSPR transmission
actually started with the 1700 time slot today?

I was monitoring, but left the computer for a few minutes just before the
top of the hour. When I returned 10 minutes later, the machine was
configuring Windows updates prior to shutting down!!!  It was connected to
the Internet for a while last night, but is only supposed to notify me of
available updates, not automatically download and install them! But I
guess what Microsoft wants is more important than whatever the mere mortal
user is doing with the machine.
