I have never heard it from the East Coast of the US but I did when I visited
it 2 years ago. Its call sign is CKN and it is actually is at Canadian
forces Base Esquimalt-Matsqui, BC, and was transmitting on 76.2 and 124.0 as
well as HF facilities when I visited. Note there are tall mountains just a
little east of the facility and I have wondered if that may be part of the
reason the signal does not do well to the east for those far away.

Note the Canadian apparently use 300 Bd rather than 200 Bd for their MSK
which makes them unique.

CFH at Halifax (actually at the Naval Radio Section Newport Corner, NS).

Often the Canadian shut down the LF over weekends.
