Hi Garry : In my opinion it was signal strength .... Even though I could " See " the signal
in the waterfall ; because of QRSS on the brain ; I assumed it should decode .. I've seen
many WSPR-2 signals that did not decode, and that woke me up.. just needed a bit more
propagation to lift that signal to decode level.. Another clue is the QRSS signal showing
faintly instead of nice and bold as it usually does.. If one is weak, then the other will be too..
I suppose I became spoiled with 2009 / 2010 conditions when it took almost no effort to
" pull em out " ... hi - hi
