Haven't listened below 15 kHz for quite awhile but did this morning
around local sunrise and was pleased to find all 3 "alpha" stations in
there. Not strong, but all detectable, despite ever increasing noise
floor due to local sources. NWC on 19.8 kHz was potent as usual and JJI
on 22.2 kHz was in there about as strong as DHO38 on 23.4 kHz. Higher
up, NRK on 37.5 kHz and NAU on 40.8 kHz were in there but nothing was
seen in the 75 kHz region where CFH and CKN sometimes transmit.
On the amateur front, WH2XND decoded much of the night using WSPR-2 on
73.5 kHz. After the sun rose here switched to 183575 kHz for my lowfer
sending WSPR-15. Will post those results to
http://www.wsprnet.org/drupal/wsprnet/spots along with possibly SWL/K9
in EN61.
