Thanks Mike!
Just moments ago I completed a page for the event that will show updated
operator details as well as explain what this is all about. You can see
that page here:

Basically you just need to run your beacon the 4th full weekend of June wx
permitting. I typically start my message on that Saturday morning around
1500z and let it run until Sunday around 2300z at 15 minute intervals. My
message typically runs 7-8 minutes at 18-20 WPM.
Message content really depends on your mode. If you are running a QRSS
mode, maybe something like "GL FD 2016 OPS" would be manageable at slow
speeds without losing interest of the viewer. Normal CW could be a short
message like "Greetings to all Field Day operators from ...." It can be as
simple or elaborate as you need it to be. If you want to operate several
modes, just let me know the time schedule for each, estimated ERP and
frequency and I can get you added to the op's list.
If you are attending a field day op or are privy to FD ops around your
area, letting them know about the event and op frequencies will help with
the outreach. This can be as simple as you dialing up your op freq on an
existing receiver at the FD site and piquing some ones curiosity or just
making mention on a 2m repeater. There is a LOT of flexibility here.
Please let me know if I can help clarify any details. Its nice to have
some variety in bands that are QRV for this event. I wonder if anyone will
undertake VLF transmission?
73 and thanks again!
