[Lowfer] CW ops on the 630 meter band

My operating "passion" is CW so....is there much CW operating going on??? 

Specific freqs more popular? 

I assume slooooooow speeds is mo better and encouraged? 

Much CW activity going on out in the s/w west?  My QTH is Saint George, UT.

How about JT9? I use JT9 and JT65 on 160 meters.
 
I should have my up and down converter(s) agoin' in a month or so and the loading coil assembled shortly after. I'll be running about 25 watts and understand the vagaries of 160 meter propagation so not expecting lots of QSOs before the fall/winter season arrives but...would appreciate any pointers or anecdotal info you could share. Off-line communiques are encouraged as I don't want to clutter up this reflector with non-important chatter about CW/JT9 ops versus WSPR (I do have WSPR software installed but have never attempted to "use it") 

My assigned call is WI2XJG --- awaiting the "rest of the process" to finish b4 receiving notification.
