Couldn't hurt. It might be interesting to try a few different modes at a few 
different power levels, in fact, to see what it really takes to get through 
at spring and summer noise levels. Wouldn't have to be a full-time every day 
sort of thing, but a schedule or other advance notice could be helpful in 
fitting monitoring in with various warm weather activities.

(Such as visits to the storm shelter, here on the Central Plains at this 
time of year. Last weekend's flooding has subsided and it's forecast to be 
quiet the rest of this week, but our traditional Mothers Day severe weather 
is expected again by Sunday. My neighbor a quarter mile to the east of the 
farm told me last week that they keep an eye on my radio shack during 
storms. As long as they don't see it blowing across the field, they feel 
safe! Nice to know I'm providing a valuable public service that way. :)
