I appreciate your thorough and thoughtful reply.  I have been listening to MF/LF/VLF off-and-on for nearly 50 years, but you seem to have had such consistently good results that I simply had to ask about what "magic" you brought to bear. Thanks.

Coincidentally, I have recently been considering an active E-field RX antenna.  Thus, I may be looking to you for some additional information and advice based on your experience.
