Most of these are designed to drive one TTL or CMOS loads. They look into a
capacitive load of between 15 to 50 pF. Excessive loading usually results in
waveform degradation and/or low voltage output level. Normally, a buffer
stage (TTL or CMOS) is used following the oscillator to provide more output
when needed.
