Mitch, The frequency is set for 185300.5Kc and shifts to 300.9. I just
turned on my receiver and it is showing a tenth higher, which I think
will drop after it is on a while.
The RF meter constructed by Bill shows close to a 1 A loop current with
the 1 W input power. I believe that is in the ballpark from what he
documented. The big question I think, is the propagation in place to
allow the signal to travel any distance. The loop is positioned on the
west edge of my bean field, so it has nothing but farm fields in the
path to the East.
