Hi John et al:
Thanks for listening - but the last of my FETs just smoked !
This conversion to 475 kHz has been a nightmare - modifying all filters,
toroids, and antenna systems.
Each change was reflected by new problems, and they kept cascading down the
line.
As I sat here this morning - I detected a familiar electrical odor - hot
and definitely bad....by lucky chance (?) I was sitting right beside the
transmitter as it arced and spit before swallowing my last FET in stock.

So your efforts to hear me much appreciated but - I was moving a couple of
fans in the room and opening a window !

I will initially be off the air for some time - so may enjoy some listening
and experience some of the receiving that I have not been able to do for
some time. Maybe a total re-building is in the future. The G0MRF rig worked
well for over a decade..... I guess it just really didn't want to move to
an unfamiliar place - 475 kHz.
