You are ahead of me with W7.  I'm using an old PC running XP for several functions.  Keying EAR with Rick's QRS program
is its prime function, as well as the usual digital modes like Argo, SpecLab, WSPR, and WOLF.  I also use it with the Navtex
decoder, YaND and have logged some real DX with Puerto Monte, Chile being my best to date.

My main computer is the iMac, while my wife has a Mac Mini, which along with the XP box are on an in-house wired LAN.
I do all of the file management of the XP unit via the iMac, as it's so much easier that way.

I hope your decoding of EAR is just the first of many for you.  It's people like yourself that provide me the motivation to
have my beacon on 24/7/52, as I never know who might be the next to send me a reception report and capture.
