Jim, once I got the right browser running on the right machine, I retrieved 
the GIF file just fine before you changed it. FWIW, that particular machine 
has an outdated version of Flash that Firefox won't run, so I'm dubious of 
the absence of Flash being the problem.  (I've intentionally left it 
un-updated because that's what so many advertisers are using these days, and 
they assume we all have ultra high speed Internet and terabytes of RAM. 
That machine doesn't, so a couple of needlessly big Flash ads running at the 
same time really bogs things down.)

Sorry to hear that Photobucket has gone so commercial, Mike. That's a shame.
