All made with the $11 Syba USB sound card dongle at 24 bits and 44.1K rate.
My Xonar U7 is apparently dead. Chance it is something like a voltage
regulator, but no easy way to
open the plastic enclosure short of a hot knife---which may happen at some
point. New U7 on order with the 2yr warranty this time....
The Acer PC I was using had a disc volume error from a OS crash so I did the
Win7 re-install thinking
I may have had a corrupt sound driver and other possible OS issues causing
the error 43 code for the USB port. 148 updates later I have a new clean
Win 7 install but it did not fix the U7 not being recognized....the Acer
also decided to interrupt last night's WSPR-X session at 3AM for another set
of updates....
Not very often I can capture WM, SIW and TAG in the same waterfall frame, so
it was a good overnight session on 185.3
