>>> how do you crop them to post

There are several good options. Garry's approach certainly works well.

I use a little simpler method myself, saving Argo captures as GIF files,
then copying and cropping sections of them in plain old MS Paint to put
together my composite images. Sometimes I'll manipulate them a little in
LView Pro (gamma adjustment can improve readability of some traces quite a
bit). LView 16 bit is free, and the newer 32 bit version doesn't cost much.

I also use the program to adjust the compression factor when saving them in
JPEG form for posting. That enables me to save fairly large images in files
small enough to pass through the reflector, and is actually the reason I let
Argo do the captures in GIF. GIF restricts color depth, but JPEG
compromises detail, especially if the image undergoes compression more than
once. By making it so my captures only suffer JPEG compression in the very
last step, I can be more agressive at reducing file size before loss of
detail becomes evident.
