[Lowfer] VLF signals

Conventional small loop antennas maintain their characteristic figure 8 pattern down through the VLF 
frequency range. Terminated loops, like the large K9AY used here, maintain their cardioid pattern 
down through VLF. I typically see F/B ratios of 15 to 20 dB at VLF. It's a bit more difficult to 
develop directional patterns at VLF with vertical antennas because of the required real estate.
